always summer, somewhere

Warm destinations in Africa

Africa is warm somewhere every month of the year. Morocco's medinas and Egypt's Nile-side cities reward spring and autumn travel, sidestepping the brutal summer heat. East Africa (Zanzibar's spice gardens, the Kenyan coast's coral towns) runs mild and dry from June through October. West Africa peaks in its dry Harmattan months, November through February. Southern Africa keeps its own clock: Cape Town's summer begins in November and runs through March.
