always summer, somewhere

Warm destinations in Africa

Africa is warm somewhere every month of the year. Morocco's medinas and Egypt's Nile-side cities reward spring and autumn travel, sidestepping the brutal summer heat. East Africa — Zanzibar's spice gardens, the Kenyan coast's coral towns — runs mild and dry from June through October. West Africa peaks in its dry Harmattan months, November through February. Southern Africa keeps its own clock: Cape Town's summer begins in November and runs through March.
